BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE FOOTHILLS (CNP)

The aim of the Boys & Girls Club is to provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities to overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life. 

This is an after-school program that offers different activities during the week and on scheduled school closures.

BRIGHTER FUTURES

Brighter Futures is a combination of free activities and services that provide personal support, and play & learning opportunities for parents with children ages 0 - 6. Please visit their Facebook page for hours of operation.
Brighter Futures offers many drop-in seasonal programs to help families learn and develop together including Little Picassos, Little Chefs, Little Builders, and many others. Brighter Futures also offers sessions where parents can focus on the different challenges of parenting the 0-6 age group.

Watch for these year-round programs:
Laugh & Learn Together Thursdays from 1:00pm - 2:30pm. For parents with children ages 0-18 months, Laugh & Learn provides a place for parents to enjoy some socialization with other parents while watching their little ones grow and explore in a safe and social environment.

Mother Mental Health on the first Tuesday of each month in partnership with Alberta Health Services, CNP Adult Education, and Family and Community Support Services. Providing a safe place for mothers to discuss the topics important to them guided by two facilitators. Free child minding is provided.

CNP 40 - YOUTH

Youth Events and Drop in Programs.  The 40 Developmental Assets are described as building blocks for life; positive experiences and personal qualities that young people need to grow up healthy, caring, and responsible.

CROWSNEST FOREST KIDS

Crowsnest Forest Kids provides regular forest playtime, as well as inspiration and challenging outdoor learning opportunities to children of all ages. Program facilitated by certified Forest School Practitioner.

CROWSNEST PASS LITERACY FOUNDATION

Peer Tutor Program

The tutor program provides weekly reading support to struggling Grade 1-6 students by recruiting and training volunteer tutors ages 12 years to adult.

In Home Visit Program

The In Home Visit Program and the Pre-K In Home Visit Program provide families with free weekly in-home literacy support.

Books for Babies

Books for Babies provides families who have a newborn baby with a free reading kit to encourage parents to read to their children.

859 CROWSNEST/PINCHER CREEK ROYAL CANADIAN AIR CADETS

Training focuses on citizenship, leadership, fitness, and aviation. Van service is available from the Pincher Creek Legion. No registration fees, a uniform is provided free of charge.
