June 17 2025
featured notifications

Crews will be working on sewer line relining in Bellevue from June 23 to 27, using a trenchless method called Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP). This work is part of ongoing efforts to improve our infrastructure with as little disruption as possible.

What to expect:

  • Work will affect residents on 25th Avenue between 205 and 210 Street only.
  • On your scheduled day, sewer service will be unavailable from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. During this time, do not allow any water to go down the drain—this includes toilets, sinks, tubs, and appliances.
  • Notifications will be delivered in advance with the specific date for each home.
  • You may notice a temporary smell during the process—this is normal and not harmful.
  • Expect some traffic or parking restrictions during the day.

Tips to help avoid draining water:

  • Use drain stoppers in sinks and tubs as a visual reminder.
  • Avoid flushing toilets during the work window.
  • Delay laundry, dishes, showers, and baths until after 6:00 pm.
  • Unplug or pause appliances that automatically use water (e.g., dishwashers, water softeners, ice makers).
  • Check for and fix any leaky faucets or toilets in advance.
  • Consider turning off your home’s main water valve if you’re worried about accidental use.

Need a bathroom during the outage?
If needed, you can use the public washroom in Bellevue during the workday.
