UPDATE: Water Service Disruption in Bellevue – August 19 & 20

UPDATE: Crews were unable to complete the water main repair today. Water service is being turned back on this afternoon.

The repair will continue tomorrow, Wednesday, August 20. Water will be shut off starting at 7:00 a.m. and is expected to remain off until about 3:00 p.m.

Homes in the affected area are being tagged or notified. The updated map shows the larger shutoff zone.

Original Post: Crews are on site today repairing a water main in Bellevue. Water shutoff will begin later this morning once the line is fully exposed.

All homes in the original repair zone were notified yesterday with door tags. These properties should expect their water to be off shortly.

The repair area is being expanded. A valve in the system wouldn’t close, so crews need to isolate a larger section of the line. Staff will go door to door to notify any additional homes as needed.

At this time, we don’t know how long the disruption will last. We’ll update this post with more details once we have an estimated timeline for the repair.
