Bellevue Watermain and service line repairs – temporary water outage and road restrictions

When: Wednesday, September 10, 2025 (morning start). Water service will be restored by end of day on Wednesday.
Where: 215 Street area. No through traffic on 215 Street. Barricade at the east end of 214 Street.
What’s happening:
-
Crews are repairing a watermain and several service lines.
-
We are also investigating a sewer line issue in the same area. The line is not yet exposed, but there are signs of a possible collapse, and water is pooling above it. We will confirm the condition once excavated.
Who is affected: Approximately 20 homes near the work zone will have water service interrupted. Impacted homes will be tagged before the shutoff.
What to expect:
-
Water will be off for affected homes during the repair period. We plan to restore service by the end of the day on Wednesday, September 10.
-
When water is restored, you may notice low pressure or discoloured water. Run a cold tap for several minutes until clear.
-
Please keep children and pets away from pooled water near the work area.
Traffic:
-
215 Street: no through traffic during the work.
-
214 Street: barricade at the east end; local access only. Please follow on‑site traffic control and signage.
We’ll update this notice if timelines change or once the sewer line is exposed and assessed.
