Community Open House

MDM Community Centre
2802 – 222 Street, Bellevue
MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN
What do you want to preserve in the Community? What do you want to create in the Community? What do you want to change in the Community?
The purpose of the Open House is to gain insight into what the ideal Crowsnest Pass should look like in the future and to hear the public’s view on how we achieve these goals. The information received will be used as a foundation for the formulation of a new municipal development plan (which will occur over the next 12 months) to guide the community over the next 25 years. Relevant information will be displayed and a take home questionnaire will be distributed. Your opinion matters!
The Plan will provide a framework for the future growth of the community, with policies on matters including but not limited to:
- Future Land Use & Growth Patterns,
- Subdivision & Development,
- Community Development & Housing,
- Parks & Open space,
- Economy & Governance,
- Municipal Services & Facilities,
- Transportation & Infrastructure.
Please direct all correspondence, including suggestions or representations respecting the plan, to:
Mike Burla, Senior Planner, Oldman River Regional Services Commission at 403-329-1344 or mikeburla@orrsc.com
