SKATING

Blairmore and Coleman have public skating for everyone from young to old. Please check with each arena for times.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

Situated on the slopes of Mount Tecumseh are 30 km of trails for all levels of skiers.
The Allison-Chinook ski trails were developed in the late 1970's by the Crowsnest Pass Lions Club and the Alberta Forest Service, using portions of an existing network of logging roads and seismic lines. Trails extend through Deadman's Pass into B.C. making it one of the best country ski areas in Canada. There are also endless trails that weave throughout the Pass that are just waiting to be explored.

For more information or maps check out Crowsnest Pass Cross Country Ski Association's website www.allisonwonderlands.ca.

The "Castle Experience" could be enjoying the long, steep runs OR the deep, light powder OR the friendly staff and locals OR the unbeatable prices of lift tickets and ski & sleep packages.  Whatever the experience, people are raving about Castle.

With 2833 feet of vertical rise and over 1600 lift accessible terrain, you will have loads of elbow room.  Our two chairlifts and super long T-Bar will get you on our slopes with virtually no line-ups and our new day lodge is the perfect place for a great meal or a thirst quenching beverage.  For anyone struggling with the snow or the slopes, our professional instructors can get you skiing or riding better in no time.
