The Crowsnest Pass has a very dramatic, entertaining and colorful history. From Rum Running to Shoot-Outs, from huge disasters to fun filled events, we have many heritage stories to tell. The Frank Slide Interpretive Center, the Bellevue Underground Mine, and the Crowsnest Museum all have knowledgeable staff available to expand on our history.
The natural beauty of this area makes it one of the best big-game hunting districts in Canada with rocky mountain bighorn sheep, moose, elk, deer, grizzly bear and black bear making their natural habitats here.
The "Pass" has some of the best fishing streams in Alberta with an abundance of rainbow and cutthroat trout.
