Electric Distribution (Wire Services)
The Municipality of Crowsnest Pass owns and operates an Electrical Distribution System (the wires that deliver electricity to homes and businesses) in the Crowsnest Pass area. The Municipality of Crowsnest Pass charges electricity retailers for the delivery of power. Retailers pass these charges on to their customers. Distribution charges are for funding the costs associated to operate and maintain the distribution system.
