Documents General
Document Authorized for release $0.60 plus GST single page or a portion thereof. Photo copy single sheet $0.60 per sheet. Maximum of $10.00 plus GST.

Tax Certificate
Tax certificate authorized for release $25.00 per certificate (GST inclusive)

Description of Parcel or Assessment
Information for description of a parcel or detailed assessment information on a year by year basis is $15.00 per parcel (Tax Search).

Assessment Record
Fee for a copy of the assessment records authorized for release to the property owner is $0.60 plus GST single page or a portion thereof.

Fridge or Freezer
The fee for a Fridge or Freezer Sticker is $25.00

Cemetery
To obtain a valid Work Permit is $15.00.

Facsimiles
To receive fax services a minimum of cover sheet plus first page is $2.50 and for a second and subsequent sheets an additional $0.60 per sheet.

Land Use By-Law Book
The fee for a copy of the Land Use By-Law Book is $125.00 includes G.S.T. per copy.

Residential Flat Rate
  • up to 500 sq.ft.: $100.00 per year
  • 500sq.ft. & over: $150.00 per year
Commercial/Industrial Flat Rate
  • up to 500 sq.ft.: $200.00 per year
  • 500sq.ft. & over: $350.00 per year

Maps are available at the following fees per map:
GIS (Black & White): $ 5.00
GIS (Colour): $12.00

Flags & Pins
The Municipal flag is available at a fee of $60.00 per flag.
Municipal pin (metal): $2.50 each.
Municipal pin (plastic): $1.50 each.

Returned Cheques or A.F.T.'s
The fee charged for a N.S.F. cheque is $20.00 per item, and the fee for the return of a A.F.T. or E.F.T is $20.00 per item.

Tax Appeal
The fee to process a tax appeal for properties with Residential Mill Rate is $40.00 /per property.

All other properties:
Assessment Value $0.00 - $999,999.00 - $150.00 / per property.
Assessment Value $1,000,000.00 - $250.00 / per property.

Business License
The fees for a business license is as follows:
  • Resident person and area resident person (Fernie to Pincher Creek): $100.00 per year.
  • Non-resident person: $360.00 per year.
  • Non-resident person Daily Rate: $100.00 per day.
The Business license year is January to December and fees are pro-rated after September 30th, calculated at 50% of the regular yearly fee.

Business application for any type of in home occupation or business license is $100.00

Open/Close - adults/children: $350.00 (plus overtime costs)
Open/Close - infants: $200.00 (plus overtime costs)
Open/Close - cremation: $125.00 (plus overtime costs)
